Welcome to the Soneva Fushi Dining experience, it is our aim to give you the opportunity to experience the very best in Food and Beverage available in the Maldives. Together with our Executive Chef, the entire Food and Beverage team have the same objective and that is to meet and exceed your expectations.
Dining options at Soneva Fushi are designed to make your stay on Kunfunadhoo diverse, exciting and slightly adventurous. Our Chef and his multi-national brigade of chef's work to produce a combination of dishes that allow the East to meet the West in culinary terms.
Every effort is made to find ingredients of the highest quality and have them delivered to the island and send as pure and fresh as they might have been served at their origin. With this philosophy in mind our menus benefit from the abundance of fresh fish at the Maldives.
To compliment the dining options, we offer a wine list with an international content that covers many recognised and some unrecognised, wine producing countries in both hemispheres. This mixture of new world wines and good French classics offers you the opportunity to fulfill the dining experience despite both cultural and climate challenges.
The Main Restaurant - A la Carte Dinner comprises of a different menu each night. The daily dinner menu can be previewed daily after 1100 hours at our guest relations champa or at the main bar.
In keeping with our objective, we offer a variety of specialty evenings throughout the week.
Me Dhuniye Restaurant
Lunch - Choose from our Fusion Cuisine Snacks menu or the Asian Noodle Soup Buffet Station.
Dinner - New world Asian cuisine at its best. Perfect blends of eastern and western food are presented with a permanent a la carte menu. There is a daily changing 5-course Degustation menu available.
Note: Me Dhuniye Restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. On Saturdays, Me Dhuniye Restaurant offers a very special 6-course Gourmet Menu including selected wine by the glass for each course served.
The Main Bar - The bar opens at 0830 hours each morning and remains open until the last guest leaves at night. During the course of the day we offer a range of menus in the bar to tempt and delight you.
The Me Dhuniye Bar - The Me Dhuniye bar is our sunset bar. It opens from 1730 hours until the last guest leaves.
The Wine Cellar - Soneva Fushi boasts a high quality climate controlled wine cellar with a selection of the best - not commercially available - wines from around the world.
Guests may either order at the cellar or from our wine list and have the wine of their choice delivered to a restaurant or their villa in time to enjoy with their meal. Wine tasting are available on request for a minimal of 4 guests.
Mihiree Mitha Lunch - Through experience we have developed an idea of a light lunch of extremely high standard, which is served by the beach in front of the main bar. This makes full use of a sea breeze and the magnificent sea view.
The style is "self-service" to enhance the relaxed nature of this meal experience, giving guests the opportunity to set their own pace and try a little of everything. The concept is an international deli experience with a variety of Pizzas, sashimi, sushi, salads, pasta and barbeque cooked to order and Ice cream parlor.
Villa Dining - If you are taken by the magic of the Maldives sky at night and wish to capture a romantic moment, while dining under the star lit sky, then you should experience our "Villa Dining" .
We offer truly unique dining experiences in your villa. Let us plan together an experience under the stars with the glow of candlelight.
Villa or Sandbank Barbeque - For the more adventurous among you, a "Villa BBQ", or a "Sandbank BBQ" brings a lot of fun into dining under the stars in the privacy of your beach garden or the sandbank, with your own personal chef and waiter combined with nature and tradition, amounts to a luxurious dining experience.
The "Villa BBQ" experience can be arranged through guest relations. A minimum of twenty-four hours (24 hours) notice is required.
The Villa or Sandbank BBQ experience is subject to availability and if you would like to discuss the menu with our chef, please feel free to contact room service or guest relations who would be happy to arrange it for you.
Desert Island Picnic - If you think you have found peace and transquility on Soneva Fushi, then brace yourself for the ultimate Robinson Crusoe experience. The bounds of civilization no longer exist; your picnic island is your opportunity to experience nature in its raw form. Our boat will deliver you to one of our picnic islands, unload your picnic and leave... (Although we will pick you up later if you insist)
Sunrise Breakfast - To capture nature at its very best, we often have to make a small sacrifice, such as getting up before dawn breaks. The sunrise in the Maldives is sensational and to view it from the sandbank or from Dolphin beach, with champagne and a light breakfast will prove to be one of those memories that last forever...
Sunset Cocktail - To create a romantic moment one requires a cocktail of circumstances mixed with abstract magic. We provide the circumstances, champagne and canapes and the abstract magic becomes apparent when you find yourself on the sandbank, alone with the one you love watching the sunset...
